The Charleston Regional Alliance for the Arts is dedicated to the shared realization of a dynamic and thriving arts community by serving arts organizations in the region of Charleston, SC with resources and best business practices.

What we do:

Founded in 2009, the Charleston Regional Alliance for the Arts serves artists and arts nonprofits in Berkeley, Dorchester, and Charleston Counties. Among the services we provide:

Lowcountry Arts Fund

Launched in 2016, the Lowcountry Arts Fund grants money to arts groups to help continue their missions. Grantees include:

Additionally, the Arts Alliance is hosting the Arts Day of Giving on Sept. 12, 2017. This community wide giving effort will be a way for the community to show their support for the arts in the lowcountry. The Alliance is providing incentive funds to help grow donation dollars even more.

Arts Calendar at www.artcharleston.org

Launched in 2015, www.artscharleston.org is the place for a comprehensive look at arts in the lowcountry. Giving users the ability to narrow down by disciplines, this mobile-friendly site is an easy way for arts lovers to find the perfect arts patch. Additionall, the site is easy (and free!) for arts groups to add their events.

Fiscal sponsorship

The Arts Alliance serves as fiscal sponsors for arts groups who are working toward their 501(c)3 status. Currently, we serve as fiscal sponsors for:
